About Us

The Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) was originally established in 1958 for the purpose of warehousing of agriculture produce (Development & Warehousing) Corporations Act 1956 Which was subsequently replaced by Warehousing Corporation Act, 1962.

Declared as one of the procuring agencies of the state government in 1993-1994, the PSWC has not only been able to achieve the target fix but also has been maintaining it's impeccable records of rendering outstanding services to the farmers by arranging prompt payments for their produce.

Today PSWC, has a network of 120 warehouses, 284 procurement centres and Two container Freight Stations and 3 Inland Container depots (ICD). PSWC is the largest state warehousing corporation of India with the Storage Capacity of 54.42 Lac MT's. It accounts for more than 33.63% of the total combined capacity available with all the State warehousing corporation in India put together.
